Working With Nature:
Our livestock live in a virtually wild setting, with the freedom to rear their progeny in accordance with their natural instincts. Their diet derives almost entirely from the hills, moorlands and fields that are managed free from fertilisers, herbicides or pollutants and this natural goodness is passed on to our customers through the product.

Promoting Welfare:
The livestock on our farms are treated with the respect and care deserved by any domesticated creature. This commitment to welfare is backed up by our Producers' adherence to organic accreditation which requires exacting stockmanship far exceeding the standards expected in conventional farming.

Our customers can be assured that the decisions made over the care of our livestock are always based on providing the best living conditions and the most humane methods of management available.

Respecting our Product:
Considering the effort and care invested in our livestock, we are adamant that no compromises are made in the process of taking Atholl Glens beef, lamb and mutton from the field to your plate. Our livestock are carefully chosen for despatch only when they have reached their optimum growth and conformation following which their journey to abattoir is kept as short and stress free as possible.

Highland Drovers of Perth, was chosen as our processing partner because they share our commitment to quality and respect of the product. Their premises and staff have also been officially accredited as meeting the organic standards and our partnership allows us to continue our quality assurance through to the finished product. Our commitment to quality during the processing stage ensures that all Atholl Glens meat is matured and hung in chilled storage for at least 3 weeks (14 days for mutton) before being cut by skilled and qualified butchers into the traditional cuts that we proudly offer to you, our customers.

Together with Highland Drovers, for the final but equally important stage of production, we have developed a packaging and delivery system which ensures you receive our products with a 100% guarantee of satisfaction and confidence. We wouldn't expect you to settle for anything less.
